ACE Point
[definition]
The ACE point is the traditional name of the one-point. This is actually the deepest point in the player’s board. If we would like to define its place it is the point farthest from the bar and closest to being borne off. The expression is widely used during a game, since other expressions are connected to it, like Ace point game, Acey – Deucey and others. In the Acey – Deucey variant for instance if a player rolls the dice and it shows one or two, the player gets an extra turn.
