The term comes from a backgammon expert’s name, Rick Barabino. The term got its name from the player because it is said that he constantly got in trouble with this move. Actually it means that the player makes a roll of 5-4 from the bar and he makes an anchor on the opponent’s five points. The term is applied when one of the player’s checkers is hit and ends up in the bar, and the player wants to re-enter it from the bar. |
