Bear In
[definition]
The term covers a very simple idea: a player bears in, when he moves his checkers to his inner board. This kind of move occurs when one of the players is preparing to remove its checkers from the backgammon board.

The removal of the checkers also has a specific name, it is connected to bearing in, and the movement is called bearing off. Beginner players should be aware of this word, because it is constantly used during a game of backgammon, so it is one of the very important special terms used during a party.
