In backgammon, the term is a synonym of Attacking Game, or Wipeout. It occurs usually at the end of the game, when one of the players hits and attempts to close out his opponent. When a player is attacking, he is usually hitting in his inner or home board. If the strategy is successful, the player will win the game because the opponent player will close out. In other words, you are attempting to close out your opponent and finish the game. |
