Cat’s Eyes
[definition]
As already mentioned in backgammon the special terms relate either to the checkers and board, or to the rolling of the dice. This term is used in many other games where a dice is involved, and it has several variations.

Besides Cat’s Eyes it is also called snake eyes, and it refers to the rolling of the dice. As the term boxcars referred to a double six, Cat’s Eyes refer to a double one. If it comes in the early stages of the game, it is typically used to make the five-point and the seven-point at the same time, so it can be very helpful.
